How it works

Three steps, about ten minutes,
most of it spent drinking coffee.

  1. The Brewing: a Turkish coffee pot, tarot-card illustration
    01

    Brew and sip.

Make a Turkish coffee, drink it down to the mud at the bottom, and hold your question in mind while you do.

  2. The Turning: flipping the cup onto the saucer, tarot-card illustration
    02

    Flip the cup.

Swirl what is left, turn the cup over onto the saucer, and let it cool. This is the part that does the work.

  3. The Seeing: reading the symbols in the grounds, tarot-card illustration
    03

    Snap and read.

Photograph the inside of your cup. Felek finds the shapes in the grounds and reads them back to you in a few minutes.

A real ritual, read honestly

The grounds have a language.

Reading coffee grounds has a name, tasseography, and a real language of symbols behind it. Felek treats it that way. You do the actual ritual yourself, then an AI trained to spot the shapes reads your cup and writes it up. We are honest about that part.

Think of it as a mirror with good lines, there for reflection and a little wonder.

A reading from a real cup

A bird sits near the rim, wings open. News is coming, and it is traveling faster than you expect. Below it the grounds thin into a road that bends left, away from the plan you were so sure about last week. Near the handle, close to you, a small knot of dots. Money, or the worry about it, sitting closer than you would like to admit. None of this is fixed. The cup only shows the weather, not the verdict.

What readers say

Cups, read and remembered.

  • I did not expect to feel anything. Then it described the exact thing I had been avoiding all week. Sat with my coffee a little longer than usual.

    Elif K.on her morning cup

  • The ritual is the point. Brewing, flipping, waiting. By the time the reading came I had already slowed down. The words were just the bonus.

    Marco D.three weeks in

  • I am a skeptic and I still open it most mornings. It reads like a good horoscope written just for that cup. Quietly addictive.

    Priya S.recovering skeptic

  • Sent a reading to my sister and now we compare cups over text every morning. Did not see that coming from a coffee app.

    Lena F.daily ritual

  • The writing is genuinely beautiful. Not the usual vague fortune stuff, it notices specific shapes and tells you a little story.

    Tomas R.on the symbols

  • My grandmother used to read cups. This is not her, but it scratches the same itch, and it kept the part that matters: paying attention.

Questions

Before you flip the cup.

Does it actually work?

It is built for reflection and entertainment. The fun is in what you notice when the cup gives you something to think about.

Do I have to believe in it?

No. Skeptics tend to enjoy it most. Read it as a story about your week and see what lands.

Do I need an account?

No. The free reading needs nothing. You can add an optional sign-in later if you want your journal to follow you across devices.

What does it cost?

Your first reading is free. After that a full reading is $4.99, and a personalized one that speaks to your name and your question costs a little more. You pay per reading, in your own currency, and the exact price shows in the app before you buy.

What happens to my photo?

It is used to read your cup, then deleted within 30 days. It is never sold or shared for ads, and you can delete your account and data any time.

Do I need special coffee?

Finely ground coffee and a small cup will do. Felek shows you how to brew and flip if it is your first time.

Is it just AI?

The reading is written by AI, and we say so plainly. You do the real ritual, the AI reads the cup.

Your cup is waiting.

One coffee, one photo, one reading. See what the grounds left behind.
