Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and CVPK Digital Studio LLC ("we", "us") for the Felek app and the felek.app website. By using Felek, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Felek is

Felek is an entertainment app. It generates short, imaginative readings from a photo of your coffee cup, in the spirit of the old tasseography tradition. The readings are written by AI and are meant for fun and reflection. They are not facts, predictions, or advice, and they are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other guidance. Please do not make real decisions based on a reading. If you are dealing with a serious problem, talk to a qualified person, not a coffee cup.

Who can use Felek

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. Felek is not made for children and is not marketed to them.

Your account

You can use the core reading without an account. If you create one, it uses a magic-link sign-in to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us.

Purchases and refunds

Felek offers paid readings as one-time purchases. Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) are the sellers of record. They handle the payment, show the price in your local currency before you buy, and apply their own terms. Because a reading is delivered to you right away, it is a consumable that is used on delivery. We do not process refunds ourselves. To request one, contact Apple or Google through your account with them.

Your license to use Felek

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Felek for your own enjoyment. The app, its design, text, illustrations, and the Felek name and logo are ours or our licensors', and you may not copy, resell, or pull them apart except where the law allows.

Your photo and what you submit

You keep ownership of the photo you take and anything you type in. By using Felek, you give us permission to process that content to create your reading and to run the features you use, including sending it to our AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to submit what you submit, that it does not include other people who have not agreed, and that it is not illegal or harmful. Please photograph your cup, not faces.

The readings

The readings Felek creates are yours to enjoy and share. They are generated by AI from your cup photo, so they are imaginative, not accurate, and two cups may produce overlapping ideas. We make no promise that any reading is correct, unique, or fit for a particular purpose.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the app. That means no illegal use, no trying to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, no uploading content you do not have the rights to, and no using Felek to harass or harm others.

Third-party services

Felek relies on others to work, including the app stores, our AI providers, and our hosting and analytics providers. Your use of the app also involves their services, and their terms may apply to those parts. We are not responsible for things outside our control on their side.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Felek running well, but we may change, pause, or stop features, and we do not promise the app will always be available or error-free. We may also stop offering the app.

Disclaimer

Felek is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the app or any reading will meet your expectations or be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CVPK Digital Studio LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Felek. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or twenty US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If your misuse of Felek or your breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we face as a result, to the extent the law allows.

Ending your use

You can stop using Felek and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the app.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please email us first so we can try to sort it out. If we cannot, the state and federal courts located in New York will have jurisdiction, and you agree to that venue, except where your local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing here removes any consumer right you have that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and your continued use after that means you accept the change.
